Description

Elegant but relaxed tunic made from a fine hand-woven cotton fabric.The shirt has a button placket which does not go all the way down to the hem, but simply makes it easier to pull the tunic over your head. The shirt has a stand-up collar, inspired from Indian clothing-styles and cuffs. Additionally the sleeves can easily be folded up and fixed with a small button at the height of the lower arms.

The darkblue cotton fabric is handmade by weavers of the family run business Vankar Kantilal Samat. Traditionally manufactured on the loom and treated with a special finishing, the fabric becomes very soft, thus comfortable to wear and does not crease easily. Woven by hand the fabric contains small irregularities, which contribute to its unique structure. Thus, each meter of this valuable material has its very own look. Finally, Tanu is sewn in our workshop in Chittapur/Londa.
