Blouse Sahay Dusty_Pink

Crop-blouse with voluminous, ruffled sleeves and a balloon-shape. Its low-cut neckline can be worn in the front or the back. Its handmade buttons are made of recycled brass. They are a reference to the stylized O of our logo which symbolises a rising sun referring to an uprising light which is the litteral meaning of our brand name Jyoti. The blouse’s handwoven cotton is very light and has and incredibly soft feel on the skin.

The cotton fabric is handmade by weaver Vankar Kantilal Samat. Traditionally manufactured on the loom and treated with a special finishing, the fabric becomes very soft, thus comfortable to wear and does not crease easily. Woven by hand the fabric contains small irregularities, which contribute to its unique structure. Thus, each meter of this valuable material has its very own look. Finally, Sahay is sewn in our workshop in Chittapur.

Fit: Loose fitted blouse. If you have a bigger waist the blouse will sit on your waistbones, otherwise it falls straight and reaches just below the waistbones.
Material behavior: We do not use any elastic (plastic) in our fabrics and work with traditionally woven goods, thus the material does not have any elasticity.
