Shirt Shalin Cream

Casual straight-cut blouse made from a fine cotton fabric with a delicate hand-woven insert in the shoulder area. The light fabric feels very comfortable on the skin even in hot temperatures.

This fabric with its little woven in applications is called Jamdani. The traditional weaving technique is common in West-Bengal and Bangladesh and creates very delicate fabrics, often used for fine shirts and shawls in India. We met the artisans who are weaving the fabric for us through our partners from GoCoop.
Finally, Shalin is sewn in our workshop in Chittapur.

Color: Gentle, slightly transparent cream white fabric with blue triangle applications woven into the fabric.
Material: 100% Cotton
Clasp: Plastic button on the neck
Care Instructions: Wash at 30°, not suitable for tumble drying.

Fit: Straight cut with rather tight fit around the chest. Loose around the waist. Check your chest measurements, this garment is not elastic.
Material behavior: We do not use any elasthan (plastic) in our fabrics and work with traditionally woven goods, thus the material does not have any elasticity.
