Cardigan Kala Blockprint-Brown

The straight-cut cardigan made of sturdy cotton fabric is a real eye-catcher. The beautiful print was created in collaboration with the artist Monica Morito. The cardigan has two pockets in the side seam, which can also be used as inside pockets. The 3/4 sleeves and the belt complete the look.

The fabric of this product is provided by Sedhantik – a brand situated in Punjab, which creates beautiful printed and embroidered fabrics and thereby combines special designs and rural handicrafts. It is their vision to offer sustainable textiles which support local communities as well as the environment and reverse the fast fashion movement.
The print designs are an artwork of Monika Morito, a berlin-based painter who captures her longing and nostalgia for her Philippine homeland, in her pictures full of natural elements and warm colors.
Finally, Kala is sewn in our workshop in Hyderabad.

Fit: Due to one size fits all, the cardigan has very different fits for different body sizes and shapes. The cardigan is oversized on very short and slim people.
Material behavior: We do not use any elasthan (plastic) in our fabrics and work with traditionally woven goods, thus the material does not have any elasticity.
