Blouse Risay Blockprint

Zero-waste blouse made of soft cotton fabric. The special cut with wide sleeves enables a production with almost no leftover fabric. The beautiful print was created in cooperation with the artist Monica Morito. The blouse can be adjusted to the body with two buttons at the hem.

The fabric of this product is provided by Sedhantik – a brand situated in Punjab, which creates beautiful printed and embroidered fabrics and thereby combines special designs and rural handicrafts. It is their vision to offer sustainable textiles which support local communities as well as the environment and reverse the fast fashion movement.
The print designs are an artwork of Monika Morito, a berlin-based painter who captures her longing and nostalgia for her Philippine homeland, in her pictures full of natural elements and warm colors.
Finally, Risay is sewn in our workshop in Hyderabad.

Fit: Due to one size fits all, the blouse has very different fits for different body sizes and shapes. It can be adjusted to the body with the help of two buttons.
Material behavior: We do not use any elasthan (plastic) in our fabrics and work with traditionally woven goods, thus the material does not have any elasticity.
