Designed by Jyoti

Our collections are created in close collaboration between Jyoti founders Carolin and Jeanine and our pattern technician Mareike. In this process, we are inspired by our life in Berlin, trips to India and lots of exchange with the Indian team. We place particular emphasis on minimal waste and a timeless design of the highest quality in order to create long-lasting pieces with the smallest possible ecological footprint.

Made of cotton

We always use cotton when we are looking for a particularly soft, supple and hard-wearing material that is skin-friendly, durable and easy to care for. Many of our cotton fabrics are lovingly made by hand. This gives their surface small, charming irregularities and the fabrics feel wonderfully soft, so that they can easily be confused with linen.

Woven in Sarli

We have been working with weaver Kanti and his family since 2015. Based in Sarli in the western Indian state of Gujarat, Kanti is part of a community of weavers that produces and sells fabrics. We love the traditional handicrafts, the family atmosphere, the ecological self-image and the beautiful, soft fabrics, and Kanti's fabrics are among our favorites.

Sewn in Chittapur

Our oldest workshop is in the small southern Indian town of Chittapur. Since 2010, sewing has been taking place here under the umbrella of our partner NGO Jyothi Seva Kendra - many of the employees from back then are still part of the team today. The women are employed directly by us, and the primary goal of our work is to support them on their way to a financially independent and self-determined future by creating fair jobs and training opportunities.

After the products have been packaged in the workshops, they begin the long journey to Germany, where the Jyoti team in Berlin is excited again and again to receive a parcel full of little treasures. In our office, warehouse, studio and concept store in Prenzlauer Berg, all newly arrived products are checked for errors and your orders are lovingly packed and shipped.

Worldwide delivery

We deliver to all countries from which you can order from our shop. However, outside the EU import fees may apply depending on regional regulations.

14 days refund

If your product does not meet your expectations, you can return it to us unworn within 14 days of receipt. Please treat it well!
