For the first time we decided to use new materials and processed wool and silk for this collection. The camel-colored wool fabric is handwoven by the family business Vankar Kantilal Samat. The wool is from the local area around Bhuj and is traditionally provided by the ranchers, the Rabari. The processed wool fabric is then sent to Chittapur, where it becomes skirt Reena or cardigan Charu in our sewing workshop. Another new material in this collection is Peace Silk. The fabrics out of this new material are made by 7Weaves. Peace Silk is made without affecting the silkworms and their natural habitat. The hand-spun yarn and the traditional production on the loom can give the fabric small irregularities. For fall, we have chosen this great material in the color anthracite and designed it into beautiful looks that can be optimally combined with all other new colors such as mustard, blackberry or bordeaux.
