Description

The cream white top Saagar is made of an incredibly soft peace-silk fabric, that feels extremely light on your skin but at the same time is very stable. Top Saagar has a loose and slightly cropped cut, its wide shoulder straps and the delicate embroidery on the front part turn it into something very special.

The creamwhite silk fabric is handmade by families from Assam in the region around Guwahati and is provided to us by our partner 7Weaves . The so called Peace-Silk is produced without harming the lives and habitat of the silkworms and dyed with natural colors. Traditionally manufactured on the loom and woven from handspun yarn, the fabric contains small irregularities, which contribute to its unique structure. Thus, each meter of this valuable material has its very own look. Finally, Saagar is sewn in our workshop in Chittapur.

Care Instructions: Handwash with luke warm water, not suitable for tumble drying, as this fabric is very delicate, please use a a laundry bag and a gentle detergent.
