The lavishly made, double-faced coat Manali is an eye-catcher for all occasions. Wearable on both sides, the night blue, handwoven cotton fabric is classic and simple. On the other side, the conspicuous block print cloth in sapphire blue is fresh and playful. The large outside pockets on both sides of the coat complete the comfortable, practical cut. The surface of the coat is interwoven with the traditional Sada stitch. With this stitch, the coat gets not only sophisticated optics, but also a solid and uncomplicated shape, which makes it the perfect travel companion – whether in your suitcase or in your backpack.
The sapphire blue, patterned cloth is being imprinted by our GOTS-certified partner Aura Herbal Wear in traditional crafting with elaborate block print technique. What is particularly special about this cloth is also that it has been dyed exclusively with natural dyes. The lining also comes from Aura Herbal Wear. The night blue cotton cloth is handwoven by the family business Vankar Kantilal Samat.. Through its traditional weaving on a handloom, the cloth gains some small irregularities that give it its unique structure. Each inch of cloth has its own character. Manali is sewn, and interwoven with the Sada stitch, in our sewing workshop in Chittapur.
