Earring Chennai Brass

Our Team in Berlin designed this Earring. The simple earrings are a wonderful everyday companion and can be combined perfectly with the smaller version – earring chandrapur – in case you have more than two ear holes:) Crafted in lovingly handwork, each pair is unique.

These earrings are crafted by a small family of artisans in Pushkar (Rajasthan) in North India. Rajasthan is the centre of goldsmith art in India. For centuries, silver – and recently brass as well- has been mined and processed there. The Mahwani family has been in the business of jewellery making for three generations and makes – following traditional Rajasthani styles – unique designs. Even though this family is not a member of our group of seamstresses in Chittapur we would like to support them because we think they are fabulous. Care: By wearing this jewellery it’s surface can become a little tarnished. To get back it’s original shine just clean it carefully with a silver cloth.
