This elegant blouse comes with an wrapped overlap in the front which can be worn open over a shirt or top, or can be closed with the small buttons attached on the inside. The blouse has broad cuffs with 2 buttons each. Due to the overlap of the front piece the blouse fits to different body shapes and provides enough flexibility for people with large bust sizes. The fine cotton fabric is densely woven and lies smooth and soft on your skin. It is robust and easy to maintain.
The patterned cotton fabric is handmade by Translate, a small Indian fashion label based in Hyderabad, which champions local Ikat artisans. Translate’s mission is to revive this traditional craft, in order to create more awareness for this beautiful weaving technique. Finally, Orumichu is sewn in our workshop in Chittapur.
